10 Reasons to be a Crafting Stay At Home Mommy

10 Reasons to be a Crafting Stay at Home Mommy

1) Eventually you will have burned off all your finger prints using your hot glue gun thus making it easy to get away with robbing Hobby Lobby of all their ribbon ...of course you may trip over a shelf in excited giddiness and stab yourself on a needle on the way out leaving your DNA behind.

2)Your husband would feel utterly incomplete if he didn't get to complain about you spending X amount of dollars on ribbon and other craft items every week.

3)There is never a dull moment chasing the kids down to get your rolls of ribbon back.

4)You always have something to do with your kids: usually its cleaning up after they painted each other while you were in the bathroom

5)Your house will be sparkly even without cleaning-if youve ever used glitter you know what I mean.

6)You will quickly learn that there is rarely a real thing as "American made" as you wait for your supplies to arrive from China. It's always good to be educated about these things. ; )

7)All your other friends will be jealous of your jeweled carpet...oh wait...that was the kids again...excuse me while I spend two hours throwing away acrylic stones.

8)You'll learn the importance of organizing...you'll organize your ribbon stash..a lot...especially when the kids are around..

9)Scrapbook paper is not just for your work..it makes great distractions for kids with crayons while you're trying to work....(hey, use the blank paper kids!)

10)You'll never have to worry about not building up a pain tolerance...you can only step on a needle or burn yourself so many times before it just becomes a part of your life...(maybe thats just me-theyre always stuck in my carpet under my desk.lol)
